Curtislaw appointed Lancashire Solicitors for the Foundation for Infant Loss Training.

Curtislaw are pleased to be able to confirm that they have been appointed as a recommended law firm for Lancashire for the Foundation for Infant Loss Training.  We are proud to be able to support this fantastic organisation and also to be able to support and assist more families in dealing with the indescribable grief and obstacles that can often arise following loss of a child.

The Foundation for Infant Loss Training and their dedicated Nationwide Baby Loss Helpline provides an invaluable source of support for families dealing with infant loss, that can signpost them to anything from getting financial assistance for a baby’s funeral, information relating to legal issues or finding a counselling provision.

Infant loss is generally misunderstood, often under supported and poorly explained.  Save for a few charities providing support to families, it is often only when stillbirths and neonatal deaths hit the headlines that people who have thankfully not experienced such loss see how traumatic this can be for families.

At Curtislaw we have a breadth of experience in dealing with stillbirth and neonatal death claims, Inquests, and birth injury claims, recovering substantial damages for many clients over the years.

We only act for Claimants.

Additionally our experienced family and employment departments are available to assist families dealing with the knock on consequences of infant loss on the home and work lives of those affected.
